According to the § No. 100. letter d) of the Act No. 326/1999 Coll., on the Residence of Aliens in the Territory of the Czech Republic and its amendments, in connection with the § 53 article 4 letter a) and second sentence of § 53 article 4 of the public notice of the Ministry for Regional Development No. 137/1998 Col., on general technical requirements for construction building, the accommodation space must have the area of at least:

a) 8 square metres, if one person is accommodated;

b) 12,6 square metres, if two persons are accommodated;

c) if more than two persons are accommodated, 12,6 square metres + 5 square metres for every additional person accommodated.
