In response to the tragic shooting at Bondi Beach in Sydney, flags at the Czech Embassy in Canberra and the Czech Consulate-General in Sydney have been flown at half-mast as a sign of solidarity with the victims and their loved ones.

The Czech Ambassador to Australia, together with other members of the diplomatic corps, signed the condolence book at Government House and presented a condolence letter from the President of the Czech Republic.
