The European Summer School in Prague is an intensive 7-day learning programme focused on European integration.
The European Summer School in Prague is an intensive 7-day learning programme focused on European integration. It is organized by one of the leading think-tanks in Central Europe, EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy, in co-operation with Prague College and the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Charles University. This year’s European Summer School runs under the title “Restarting Europe: Central European Perspective” and takes place in Prague between 13th – 20th July 2019.
The programme will be focused on current issues that the European Union faces, its foreign policy, the position of Central European countries and V4, EU refom process, competitiveness of the EU and its regions, as well as the topic of migration.
Among this year´s lecturers, the students will meet experts from their respective fields, including Aleš Chmelař (Czech Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for European Issues), Jakub Durr (Head of the Czech Permanent Representation to the EU), or Magdaléna Vášáryová (Slovak diplomat and politician).
