The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Canberra, in cooperation with the Rats of Tobruk Association, organised an exhibition focusing on the cooperation between the Czechoslovak and Australian armed forces during a significant battle of the Second World War - the Siege of Tobruk.
Saturday's opening was held at Tobruk House in Melbourne. The opening was preceded by short speeches by the President of the Rats of Tobruk Association, Mr Bruce Bingham and the Czech Ambassador Tomáš Dub, followed by a screening of the film Tobruk, directed by Václav Marhoul.
We thank all speakers and guests for participating and look forward to further cooperation!
