Presentation of Credentials of the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Independent State of Samoa

H.E. Mr Tomáš Dub, the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Samoa presented his Letter of Credence to the Head of State, Afioga Tuimalealiifano Vaaletoa Sualauvi II, during a Credentials ceremony held at the residence of the Head of State at Vailele at 10:00 am this morning. Ambassador Tomáš Dub is accredited to Samoa with residence in Canberra, Australia.
Samoa and the Czech Republic established diplomatic relations on 12th December 1995. During the credentials ceremony, the remarks by the Head of State and the Ambassador reaffirms Samoa and the Czech Republic’s desire to strengthen our existing relations through cooperation on matters of mutual interest to benefit our people and countries. Their remarks also reiterated the need to continue close collaboration at the United Nations to enhance global peace and security, sustainable development and respect for human rights and the rule of law in the pursuit of enhancing international relations.
