Official Visit to the Kingdom of Tonga and Opening of the Honorary Consulate

Ambassador Tomáš Dub, Consul General Zuzana Slováková, Economic Counsellor Milan Vágner travelled to the Kingdom of Tonga on an Official Visit to participate in the opening of the Czech Honorary Consulate in Nuku’alofa with its honorary consul, Ms. Robina Nakao appointed to the position in May 2022.
During the visit, Ambassador Dub had the pleasure to meet with the King of Tonga, His Majesty King Tupou VI and the Prime Minister of Tonga, the Honourable Hu’akavameiliku (among other…).

The Czech Republic is strengthening its cooperation with the Kingdom of Tonga with this visit bringing attention to the Czech Indo-pacific Strategy and European Union Indo-pacific Strategy.
