New requirements to travel to Europe - ETIAS

Third-country nationals who do not require visas for short-term (up-to 90 days) travel to the Schengen Area will be required to obtain a travel authorization in the ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System) system in the near future. It is expected that ETIAS will become operational in 2024. Detailed information on ETIAS, incl. who will need to obtain a travel authorization through ETIAS, how to apply etc. is available on the official website of the EU on ETIAS.
