Mother Language Walk 2022

The ninth annual International Mother Language Day walk around Lake Burley Griffin went ahead this year. Czech and Slovak community members took a part in the celebrations of the UNESCO-designated day which falls on February 21 – although for convenience this year’s walk was celebrated on Sunday, February 20. Language-lovers walked along Lake Burley Griffin to watch culture performances and had a picnic.
