Europe Day 2023

Earlier today, the Ambassador of the European Union to Australia, His Excellency Mr Gabriele Visentin, hosted our Ambassador H.E. Mr Tomas DUB, and all EU heads of Mission to celebrate Europe Day and the great ties between the EU and Australia. 

Europe Day is held on the 9th of May every year and celebrates peace and unity in Europe. It also commemorates the signing of the 'Schuman Declaration' which eventually lead to the creation of the European Union and was aimed at making war between European nations "not merely unthinkable, but materially impossible".
