Invitation letter from the organisers:

Dear potential students of the Czech language,
I would like to invite you to our favourite summer intensive courses of the Czech language for foreigners called 'Czech study summer' organized again by AKCENT International House Prague from 25th July to 12th August 2011.

These summer intensive courses are suitable for students of all language levels who would like to study during the summer. The three-week courses consist of morning and afternoon programs and contain 72 lessons. Morning lessons concentrate on communication and grammar, afternoon lessons focus more on practical use of the language.

The courses are planned not only for beginners but also for advanced students. Beginners will learn elementary vocabulary and develop their ability to communicate in Czech in everyday situations (e.g. doing shopping, plannin for the weekend, making appointments/dates, ordering meals in restaurants). More advanced students will consolidate and extend their present knowledge. Showing Czech films will be part of the courses.
Basic materials are books by PhDr. Lída Holá Czech Express 1 and 2 and New Czech Step by Step and Krok za krokem 2.

Unquestionable advantages of the courses are multilingual groups of between 4 - 10 students and lessons taught in Czech with no mediatory language.
