Commemorative Event - Annual wreath laying ceremony

The annual wreath laying ceremony to honour the service and sacrifice of Czechoslovak servicemen will be held at 10am on Sunday 30 October 2022 at the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne.
Czech and Slovak born Australians have a long and proud history of military service. They have served alongside Australians in various conflicts around the world for over 100 years.
H.E. Tomas Dub, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic and Ivan Kovarcik, The President of Australian Slovak Association in Victoria will lay wreathes & flowers on behalf of the Czech and Slovak communities. Light refreshments will follow the ceremony.
The free public event will be held at the Memorial Tree G60 at the Shrine of Remembrance and will also be broadcast live https://www.shrine.org.au/czechoslovak-ex-servicemens-league
