On Saturday, June 13, 2026, a Children´s Day was organized at the Czech Embassy in Canberra jointly with the Czechoslovak Association Beseda. After a welcome speech given by the Czech Ambassador Jana Tyrer, the children enjoyed an educational show, took part in creative games and various sports competitions. While our grown-up guests could enjoy the fusion of Australian (BBQ) and Czech (Pilsner, Mulled Wine) refreshments during the event, our little fellow countrymen were awarded for their accomplishments. Furthermore, they got a fun opportunity to practice their native tongues.
