The prime minister of Fiji then congratulated him during a courtesy call for being appointed as the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Fiji. They then discussed the upcoming presidency of the Council of the EU by the Czech Republic and its intent to continue with the implementation of the European Union Indo-Pacific strategy. Ambassador Dub stated that Fiji and Czech Republic are likeminded countries, demonstrated with our partnership at the United Nations.
