Ambassador of the Czech Republic Martin Pohl participated in a solemn ceremony to commemorate fallen soldiers

On 11 November 2017 Ambassador of the Czech Republic Martin Pohl participated in a solemn ceremony to commemorate fallen soldiers. Ambassador Pohl laid a wreath in their honor at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.
The Armistice which ended World War I came into effect on 11 November 1918 and we also remember this significant day as the war veterens´ day. This commemorative event held in the Australian capital is reguraly attended by the Governor-General of Australia Sir Peter Cosgrove, representatives of the Federal Goverment as well as members of the diplomatic corps.
