Ambassador Jana Tyrer's visit to PowerTech Adelaide

Ambassador Jana Tyrer visited the technology company PowerTech in the technology park in Adelaide, which represents Czech entities on the Australian market.

One of them is OPTOKON, a company from Jihlava, a manufacturer of solutions for object security using fibre optic cables and artificial intelligence. In addition, Energocentrum Plus Praha, for example, offers the product "EnergyTwin" on the Australian market, which uses artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms for energy savings. This is followed by a product from CTU UCEEB (CTU, Centre for Energy Efficiency in Buildings) called PV-Forecast, which predicts the intensity of solar radiation based on weather forecasts to optimise the performance of solar power plants, which are very popular in Australia.

Both the Czech entities and PowerTech are very appreciative of the partnership, which benefits both parties. Thanks to this unique connection, Czech companies are gaining valuable experience and contacts not only in the business but also in the academic sphere and developing their opportunities in the highly competitive Australian market. The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Canberra plans to continue to develop cooperation with Czech entities represented by PowerTech and to use their knowledge to further promote Czech solutions and technological processes that can be applied in specific Australian conditions.
