On Sunday 11 November 2017 Ondřej Boháč participated in a solemn ceremony to commemorate fallen soldiers and on behalf of the Czech Republic laid a wreath in their honor at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.
The Armistice which ended World War I came into effect on 11 November 1918 and we also remember this significant day as the war veterens´ day. This commemorative event held in the Australian capital wasattended by Prime Minister of Australia The Hon Scott Morrison, Leader of the Labor Party The Hon Bill Shorten, representatives of the Federal Goverment as well as members of the diplomatic corps.
