Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic reopens in Queenstown

On June 1, 2020, the Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Queenstown will reopen, after a one year interruption.
The Honorary Consulate will help the Czech citizens who reside or visit the South Island, providing assistance in consular agenda (passports, verification of signatures and copies of documents, consular assistance and others) and representing the Czech Republic in the field of business and culture.
The Honorary Consulate is in close touch both with the Czech and local community in Queenstown and is looking forward to cooperate with local authorities on all levels. The Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic is the only office of an EU country of its kind in Queenstown. In this regard, the office will coordinate assistance for the EU citizens in emergency situations.
Ms. Lada Nobilisová, a resident of Queenstown and a Czech/New Zealand citizen, currently employed with Mactodd Lawyers in Queenstown, will carry out her duties as the new Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Queenstown, for the next 5 years .
