Prime Minister and Minister of Finance in Budapest on 4th and 5th September 2019

Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Babiš visited Budapest to participate in the Demographic Summit. He was among the main speakers of the Summit together with Prime Minister of Hungary Victor Orbán, President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, former Prime Minister of Australia Tony Abbott, Deputy Prime Minister of Bulgaria Marijana Nikolova, Cardinal and Archbishop Péter Erdö, bishops of the Evangelical and Reformer Churches and the Chief Rabbi of the Unified Hungarian Jewish Congregation. They also met for dinner on 4th September joined by Prime Minister of Slovakia Peter Pellegrini.

On 5th September, Andrej Babiš visited the Embassy of the Czech Republic where he talked to participants of a whole day event dedicated to Hungarian and Czech twinning cities, towns and villages. Here he met with businesspeople and Czech and Hungarian journalists too. 

The Prime Minister accompanied to Budapest the Minister of Finance Alena Schillerová and Head of the Section of Prime Minister´s Cabinet Tünde Bartha who was among panellist at the Demographic Summit. 

On 4th September the Ministers of Finance of the Czech Republic and Hungary had a working dinner.
