Opening of the exhibition Velvet Revolution

On November, 19th, the joint Czech and Slovak exhibition called Velvet Revolution opened in the Open Society Archives in Budapest.
The opening ceremony marked the 30th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution in Czechoslovakia. The Ambassadors of the Czech and Slovak Republics, Tibor Bial and Pavol Hamžík, in their brief address, thanked creators and organisers of the Exhibition. OSA´s Director István Rév, General Director of Czech Centre Ondřej Černý and Deputy General Director of the National Museum in Prague Rudolf Pohl talked about the Exhibition and the revolutionary year of 1989.
The Exhibition is a joint product of the National Museum in Prague, Czech Center and Slovak National Museum in cooperation with the Open Society Archives and Slovak Institute in Budapest . You can find further information on the website of Czech Centres.
