Czech First Deputy Prime Minister K. Havlíček was present at the ceremonial signing of the agreements between CSG and 4iG, and used his visit for further negotiations.
On March 2, 2026, the Czechoslovak Group (CSG) and the Hungarian company 4iG signed agreements at the Prime Minister's Office in Budapest, marking CSG's significant entry into the Hungarian defense industry. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Czech First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Karel Havlíček spoke at the event, in the presence of the top management from both companies.
The signed agreements concerned a strategic partnership between CSG and 4iG, the acquisition of a 49 % stake in 4iG STD EGY (which will give CSG a 37 % indirect stake in Rába Automotive Holding), joint production of Tatra military vehicles at the Rába plant in Győr, the involvement of Rába in Tatra's export program, and possible involvement in the HIMARS project for Hungary with Lockheed Martin.
Deputy Prime Minister Karel Havlíček used his trip to hold separate meetings with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Hungarian Minister of Energy Csaba Lantos.
The embassy wishes the traditional Czech Tatra and the entire CSG a lot of success on the Hungarian market!
