On October 3, 2019, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Budapest hosted a presentation of a unique nanotechnology gun called Fiber-Flow. It was the first presentation of this revolutionary technology outside the Czech Republic. The Fiber-Flow nano-gun, which was developed by company PARDAM in cooperation with the Technical University of Liberec, is the world's first handheld portable device that can produce nanofibers by centrifugal forces.
During the presentation, Pardam CEO, Jan Buk, demonstrated possible applications of the Fiber-Flow gun in the cosmetics and dermatology (e.g. direct application of nanofibers on the skin), in the food industry (e.g. food packaging) or in the agriculture (e.g. plant protection).
In addition, Jan Buk presented the Fiber-Flow gun at the Budapest Technical University, at the Eötvös Loránd University, at the Semmelweis University as well as the Bay Zoltán Institute for Applied Research.
