Second Donor Conference for Moldova "Moldova Support Platfrom" on 15 July in Bucharest

The second donor conference for Moldova co-organised by Romania, France and Germany took place on 15 July 2022. The conference was co-chaired by Romanian Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock and French State Secretary for Development, Francophonie and International Partnerships Chrysoula Zacharopoulou.
The Republic of Moldova was represented at the event by a large ministerial delegation led by Marcelo Spatari, Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Republic of Moldova. Maia Sandu, President of the Republic of Moldova, also spoke at the opening of the conference.
The large delegation of the Czech Republic was led by the Special Envoy for the Eastern Partnership, Jaromír Kurfürst, who stressed that Moldova has long been a priority country for our development and transition cooperation. The delegation also included the Czech Ambassador to Bucharest, Halka Kaiserová. The event was attended by delegations from 33 countries and other representatives of international institutions (e.g. World Bank, OSCE, EU, UN agencies).
