Ambassador Halka Kaiserová attended the Remembrance day ceremony in Medgidia and laid wreaths to the graves of the Czech, Serbian and Scotish soldiers who lost their lives in battles in Dobrogea.

The Czech volunteers fought in the Serbian Division formed in Odessa in 1914. They participated in the battles in Dobrogeja near villages Nasredin, Cocargea (today Pietreni) and cities Amzacea and Medgidia.

The Remebrance Day was organized by the Ministry od Defence of Romania, City of Medgidia and was attended by the Serbian Embassy to Romania  as well as by a number of the Army organizations.
