President of the Senate of the Czech Republic Miloš Vystrčil honoured the memory of the fallen Czech legionaries in Medgidia

During his official visit to Romania, the President of the Senate of the Czech Republic, Miloš Vystrčil, paid tribute to the Czech legionaries who died in the battles in Dobrogea.
During the ceremony, the senators laid wreaths at the memorial after the Czech and Romanian anthems were played by the military orchestra. A lime tree, the Czech national tree, was planted on the occasion of this important event and President Vystrčil and Ambassador Kaiser together unveiled a plaque commemorating this solemn moment. On the Romanian side, the commemorative ceremony was attended by the Prefect of the County of Constanţa Silviu-Iulian Coşa, the President of the Constanţa County Council Mihai Luau, the Vice-Mayor of Medgidia Niculae Paun, Colonel Eugen Calin, Commander of the Medgidia Garrison and Colonel Cornelia Prioteasa The entire ceremony was framed by the presence of the Medgidia military garrison.
