Opening of the exhibition "Volarismus" in Bucharest

On Wednesday,15th May 2025, the international exhibition "Volarismus" was inaugurated at the Galateca Gallery in Bucharest, presenting the newly formed art movement of the same name, based on a free, intuitive and imaginative approach to art. The exhibition is the result of a close collaboration between Galateca Gallery, the main organizer of the project, and Czech partners. The project is held under the auspices of the Czech Ambassador to Bucharest, M. Košatka. The Embassy of Romania in Prague also participated in the preparation of the event.
The exhibition features works by the founding members of Volarism, including Cecilia Chiavistelli (Italy), Lenka Sárová Malíská (Czech Republic), Teodor Buzu (Moldova), Michal Dubnický (Czech Republic), Pavel Klíma (Czech Republic), Vít V. The exhibited paintings and objects reflect visual freedom as a means of creative expression and international dialogue.
The presence of the renowned art critic Vladimir Bulat, whose work has made a major contribution to the understanding and promotion of Romanian and Moldovan art, and the President of the Romanian Visual Artist Union, Petru Lucaci, added special significance to the event.
The aim of the exhibition is not only to introduce a new artistic tendency to the Romanian audience but also to strengthen and develop the artistic dialogue between the Czech and Romanian cultural scene.
