Bogdan Aurescu gave appreciation to the Czech Ambassador´s work and thanked him for a long-term contribution of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bucharest to increasing political and economic relations between the two countries. He expressed an interest of Romania for continuation of intensive dynamics in bilateral political dialogue including high-ranked bilateral visits, as well as for further development of trade exchange and exploitation of existing investment potential of the two countries. J. Šitler conveyed an invitation to B. Aurescu for a visit to the Czech Republic, which was accepted.

At the end of the meeting Ambassador Šitler received a commemorative medal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania “as a token of appreciation of his contribution to the promotion of the relations between Romania and the Czech Republic”.
