Reception co-hosted by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Brussels and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation on the occasion of the Grand Challenges Annual Meeting focusing on science, innovation and global health

On 24 October, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Brussels with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation co-hosted a private reception related to the Grand Challenges Annual Meeting - the conference that is organised by the Foundation every year.
 

The Grand Challenges Annual Meeting 2022 takes place in Brussels from 23 - 26 October with a focus on promoting science, innovation and health in a global context. Speakers include European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo, German Minister for Education and Research Bettina Stark-Watzinger and Co-Chair of the Foundation Bill Gates.
