Opening of the exhibition about Johann Gregor Mendel at the Catholic University of Leuven with the participation of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Belgium

On 8 September, an exhibition on Johann Gregor Mendel was opened at the Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven) on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of his birth.
The exhibition was organised in collaboration with the Plant Institute KU Leuven, the Faculty of Engineering of Biological Sciences KU Leuven and Mendel University in Brno. This outdoor exhibition, transported to Belgium from the Czech Republic, is located on the KU Leuven campus.
Deputy Head of Mission Eva Kordová, Vice - Rector of Mendel University Ondřej Mocek, Director of the Plant Institute KU Leuven Fillip Roland and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of Biological Sciences Bruno Cammue spoke at the opening of the exhibition.
