Velvet Revolution commemoration

The Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU and the Permanent Representation of the Slovak Republic to the EU invite you to a joint meeting on the occasion of the commemoration of the Fight for Freedom and Democracy and of the Velvet Revolution in 1989, which will take place on Monday, November 17, at 6:00 p.m. in Parc Léopold, at the Václav Havel bench.


Together, we will commemorate the events of November 1989, which brought freedom and democracy to the then-Czechoslovakia, and we will honor their legacy by lighting candles.
