The Echoes of Ji.hlava film festival (Echoes of Ji.hlava) was officially launched yesterday at the Prague House in Brussels, bringing a selection of the most prominent documentaries from the latest edition of the Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival to the Belgian capital.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Kingdom of Belgium, Jakub Skalník, who honored the event with a short opening speech. The program commenced with a screening of the film Unborn Father (directed by Michal Böhm), an intimate cinematic essay exploring themes of fatherhood and family bonds.
Echoes of Ji.hlava will continue in Brussels over the coming days with screenings at the Prague House and the Bozar Centre for Fine Arts.
