Four innovative Czech food companies presented themselves for the first time at the ARTISAN 2025 trade fair, which took place in Kortrijk from September 28 to October 1, 2025. The Czech stand was officially opened by Ambassador Jakub Skalník, who emphasized the high quality of Czech products and their international potential in his speech.
The presence of Czech companies was secured by the CzechTrade agency, which has long supported the expansion of Czech producers into foreign markets. The fair featured Beavia, an innovative producer of plant-based fermented foods such as kimchi, miso, hummus, and herbal drinks, all of which are organic, vegan, and preservative-free. Kojibakers, specialists in authentic Japanese fermentation, offered miso pastes, tamari sauces, and soups made from Czech and European ingredients. Traditional Czech processed cheese producer TANY, spol. s r. o., operating on the market since 1991, presented its products for retail and tailor-made solutions for bakeries and meat companies. Last but not least, the family-owned cannery Via Delicia offered pâtés, gourmet meat dishes, chutneys, and jams.
The first participation in ARTISAN represents an important step for Czech companies towards Belgian partners and customers. It showed that Czech products excel in quality, originality, and beautiful workmanship and have something to offer on the world stage.
