Statement of the Czech MFA on the attack in Berlin

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic is shocked by the barbarian attack on the Christmas market visitors which took place in Berlin yesterday evening and strongly condemns it. The Czech MFA is ready to offer its German partners whatever cooperation is needed. On behalf of the Czech MFA we want to express our deep sympathy to all those who lost their close friends or family members in the Advent time and wish a quick recovery to all injured.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Lubomír Zaorálek has expressed his condolences to his counterpart, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier. The Foreign Ministries are in regular contact regarding this matter.
