Czech-German Innovation Festival 2019

We cordially invite you to the 4th Czech-German Innovation Festival (CGIF 2019). The event will take place on 9th April 2019 in the Embassy of the Czech Republic and the Czech Center Berlin.
The main topics of this year’s festival will be INNOVATION STRATEGIES as well as SPACE and AEROSPACE as the two areas of a special focus. Again, the Czech-German cooperation in research, applied science, innovations and startups will be highlighted.
The event will be opened with the presentation „The Czech Republic. The Land for the Future“ by Mr. Karel Havlicek, Vice-chair of the Council for Research, Development and Innovations of the Czech Government, presenting the new ambitious strategy of supporting Industry 4.0 and international cooperation in the Czech Republic. Mr. Havlicek and other Czech experts from public institutions, universities, incubators and the private sector will discuss the upcoming challenges and best practices in supporting R&D with high ranking officials from German Federal Ministries, companies and organizations.
In addition, 4 parallel workshops will take place during the day e.g. on the topic of “Start-up Climate and Support in Germany and the Czech Republic”. Finally, the day will be closed with a Czech Startup Pitch presenting 5-6 selected Czech digital startups.

The participants of the 4th Czech-German Innovation Festival will have a possibility to attend the BERLIN HUB conference on 10th and 11th of April organized by our partner Bitkom.
