Signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic and CCPIT during the visit of a delegation from the Czech Republic to China

From April 15 to 19, a delegation of representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, the Association of Industry and Transport of the Czech Republic, the Association of Engineering Technology and Trade Fairs Brno, a.s. visited Beijing. They discussed with their Chinese counterparts the possibilities of future cooperation.
The delegation consisted of the representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic (Director of the Department of Non-European Countries Mr. Richard Hlavatý and Officer of the Department of Africa, Asia and Australia Mrs. Barbora Mbuyi Kocourková), the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic (Vice President Mr. František Chaloupecký and Deputy Director for the European Union, Trade Policy and International Organizations Mr. Mikuláš Nozar), the Association of Engineering Technology (president Mr. Jan Rýdl Jr.) and Veletrhy Brno, a.s. (CEO Mr. Jan Kubata).
During the several-day visit, the delegation, accompanied by representatives of the Czech Embassy and CzechTrade, held a series of meetings with their counterparts, during which the current Czech-Chinese trade exchange and the possibilities of future cooperation were mainly discussed. On Wednesday, April 17, the delegation met with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), during which a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic and CCPIT. In the past, the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic signed a memorandum of understanding with the regional branches of the CCPIT, now it is a matter of signing a memorandum with the umbrella organization, which gives scope for concrete cooperation between the two parties.
