Meeting with the Czech-Slovak-Chinese Friendship Farm

On 28 January, a meeting took place between representatives of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Beijing and a delegation from the Czech-Slovak-Chinese Friendship Farm, which this year commemorates the 70th anniversary of its founding. The main topic was the possibilities for further deepening trade cooperation and building on the long-standing historical ties between the Czech Republic and the region in Hebei Province.
The Farm has gradually developed from an originally agricultural project into a large industrial complex with a dominant petrochemical sector and activities in other fields, including aviation and the food industry. The discussion covered possibilities for expanding cooperation, involving Czech companies, participation in trade fairs, and commemorating the anniversary of mutual relations. From the Embassy’s perspective, the further development of cooperation represents an opportunity to strengthen economic ties in the region.
