
The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China held a viceministerial meeting in Beijing

On April 21, a meeting was held in Beijing between the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, Martin Frélich, and the Deputy Minister of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, Ling Ji. The main topic was mutual trade exchange and possibilities for deepening trade cooperation.
The meeting of the Deputies followed up on the 12th meeting of the Economic Joint Committee, which took place in Beijing in November 2024. Both sides confirmed the importance of regular dialogue, the forms of which include meetings of the working group and the economic joint committee of both ministries. The Czech side declared that its main interests include supporting its companies on the Chinese market. At the same time, possible new segments of mutual cooperation were discussed with the Chinese side. The Chinese side appreciated the long-term trade cooperation between the two countries and expressed interest in deepening it.
