The Cathedral of St. Joseph was finished with the help of French missionaries in 1916 and is one of the most beautiful Christians monument in the Bohai Area. The unveiling was followed by short speeches made by Ivana Grollová, vice ambassador of the Czech Republic in China, Mr Zhang Liang, pastor and the director of the factory Rieger-Kloss Mr. Premysl Obšil. Besides the nig Tiajina Church organ, China boasts with another – smaller one – Czech-made organ that can be found in the Catholic Church on the well known  Wangfujing Street in the heart of Beijing.
