On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Czech Republic and the People's Republic of China, a Czech language competition will take place on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Beijing. Chinese students will prepare a speech on one of four pre-selected topics of the length of five minutes and present it in front of an esteemed jury consisting of embassy representatives, Chinese teachers, and lecturers. The number of students of Bohemistics (Czech language studies) present will not be limited, but the number of competitors is limited to 5 students from each respective Bohemistics department.
