Czech culture represented at the 2026 Europe Day celebrations in Beijing

On May 8, 2026, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Beijing participated in the Europe Day celebrations in Beijing, organized by the Delegation of the European Union to the PRC. The event attracted a wide range of visitors from diplomats, partners, media and the public.
The ceremonial reception included cultural stands from all 27 member states of the European Union. The Czech stand introduced Czech culture to visitors through the popular Krteček and a selection of Czech literary works translated into Chinese. The presentation also included a number of eye-catching printed materials and brochures promoting the Czech Republic as an attractive tourist destination.
