Changes in your itinerary

If your itinerary has changed or is about to change, you need to tell us because your visa might be affected. Changes in situation include changes of your accommodation, flights or any other important changes that can affect a decision about an issued visa.

 

How you can notify us:

THE ONLY WAY TO NOTIFY US is via following email: beijing.visacorrespondence@mzv.gov.cz No other channel or email is considered as acceptable in case of any dispute. 

 

In the subject of the email and the body of your email as well you are obliged to include following information:

• the number of visa sticker issued to your passport

• your name and surname

• the number of your passport

 

In the body of your email you are obliged to include following information:

• briefly comment changes which you made in your itinerary

• new supporting documents (PDF files) - only PDF file is accepted as attachment, no cloud  or any other remote site is accepted

 

Kindly keep in mind that the Member State (to be understood as Schengen State) competent for examining and deciding on an application for a uniform visa shall be:

(a) the Member State whose territory constitutes the sole destination of the visit(s);

(b) if the visit includes more than one destination, or if several separate visits are to be carried out within a period of two months, the Member State whose territory constitutes the main destination of the visit(s) in terms of the length of stay, counted in days, or the purpose of stay; or

(c) if no main destination can be determined, the Member State whose external border the applicant intends to cross in order to enter the territory of the Member States.

 

In case that itinerary of your trip is significantly changed to indicate "visa shopping" so the consulate is obliged to facilitate the fight against fraud and to assist in the identification of those not meeting the conditions for entry, stay or residence in Schengen Member States:

• A visa shall be annulled where it becomes evident that the conditions for issuing it were not met at the time when it was issued, in particular if there are serious grounds for believing that the visa was fraudulently obtained. A visa shall in principle be annulled by the competent authorities of the Member State which issued it. A visa may be annulled by the competent authorities of another Member State, in which case the authorities of the Member State that issued the visa shall be informed of such annulment.

• A visa shall be revoked where it becomes evident that the conditions for issuing it are no longer met. A visa shall in principle be revoked by the competent authorities of the Member State which issued it. A visa may be revoked by the competent authorities of another Member State, in which case the authorities of the Member State that issued the visa shall be informed of such revocation.
