Submission of an application for a long-term visa/residence

You can apply for a long-term visa or residence at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Beijing ONLY on the basis of proper email registration.
Registration e-mail: Beijing.Visa@mzv.gov.cz
Consequence of no registration: Without a previous proper registration, the application will be considered not admissible and will not be processed by the authorities.
INSTRUCTIONS: HOW THE E-MAIL REGISTRATION MUST LOOK
Your e-mail must be divided into 3 mandatory parts. If the application fails to meet any of these conditions, it will be discarded without a response.
PART 1: E-MAIL SUBJECT
Include only the travel document number, name, surname, and purpose of stay.
- Study Example: AA123456789, Firstname SURNAME, STUDY
- Blue Card Example: AA123456789, Firstname SURNAME, BLUE CARD
- Family Example: AA123456789, Firstname SURNAME, FAMILY
PART 2: E-MAIL BODY
The body must contain only the following information in Latin script (exactly as in your passport):
- SURNAME Firstname
- Date of birth (format DD/MM/YYYY)
- Travel document number
- Contact telephone number
! ATTENTION ! The text must not contain anything else (no greetings, explanations, or requests for specific dates). Any other text will lead to disqualification.
PART 3: ATTACHMENTS
All attachments must be provided separately in PDF format. Cloud links (Google Drive, iCloud, etc.) or JPG/ZIP formats are not accepted. The total size of the e-mail must not exceed 10 MB.
- Copy of the passport data page (page with photo and personal details).
- Copy of the document proving the purpose of stay (e.g., enrollment confirmation, employment contract, hosting agreement, registry extract, or marriage/birth certificate).
- For PRC citizens: Copy of hukou or proof of residence within the Beijing consular district.
- For non-PRC citizens: Proof of residence permit in China for a continuous duration of at least 2 years.
[!] IMPORTANT RULES FOR 2026
- 1 E-mail = 1 Applicant Rule: Multiple persons in one e-mail are not allowed (except for minors applying together with their legal representative).
- Data Consistency: The information in the e-mail body must correspond in full and in detail to the data in the attachments.
- No Duplicity: Sending multiple e-mails for one applicant (even from different addresses) will lead to automatic disqualification.
- Local Jurisdiction: The applicant must belong to the Beijing consular district.
- Security: E-mails with a disabled reply function or those sent via software tools (spam-bots) will be deleted.
- Appointments: The assigned order cannot be changed. If you fail to appear, you must submit a new registration.
Note: All data must be entered exclusively in the Latin alphabet and standard European number notation.
