In case of Schengen Visas, the application can be submitted at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bangkok only if the Czech Republic is the only ort the main destination of the intended travel into the Schengen Area.

Citizens of Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia intending to travel to the Czech Republic can also submit their applications for Schengen Visas via the Embassies and Consulates of France in their countries.

All the applications have to be submitted in person.

Citizens of Thailand, Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia can submit application for Schengen (Short-term) Visa also via the VFS Global Joint Visa Application Centre. The possibility to submit the application for Schengen (Short-term) Visa at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bangkok is available as well. However, the citizens of other countries can submit their application for Schengen (Short-term) Visa at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bangkok or at the VFS Global Joint Visa Application Centre only if they have a valid residence-permit in Thailand, Myanmar, Laos or Cambodia for the period longer than 1 year.

Schengen Visa application can be submitted at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bangkok only after a previous reservation of appointment via the online reservation system.

The fees for applications are paid in cash and in THB only. The fees are THB equivalent of EUR 60 (according to current exchange rate) for Schengen Visa application, equivalent of CZK 2500 for Long-term Visa application and equivalent of 500 CZK for Residence Permit application. In case of Schengen Visas applications submitted via VFS the fee is equivalent of EUR 79.

The validity of supporting documents submitted with the Schengen Visa application is checked by the Embassy (for example the validity of flight booking or the validity of declared accommodation). If the applicant intends to change the flight and accommodation bookings after submitting the Visa application he/she has to inform the Embassy about the change and to provide the new version of concerned documents. Otherwise the application may be refused. The supporting documents of Visa applications have to be presented in original or as officially verified copies.
