Presentation of Thai Translation of Bohumil Hrabal book „Too Loud a Solitude“

A translation of the book of the famous Czech writer Bohumi Hrabal into Thai language was presented at the 8th Arts Book Fair organized by the Chulalongkorn University on 23 February 2017. This very unique occasion celebrated historicaly the first translation directly from the Czech language into Thai.
Bohumil Hrabal (28 March 1914 – 3 February 1997) was a Czech writer, regarded by many Czechs as one of the best writers of the 20th century. The first Thai translation of his book Too Loud a Solitude by prof. Verita Sriratana is now published by Bookmoby Press. Come and join us in celebrating with us this special occasion and get to know more about the Czech literature. The event is organized by the Faculty of arts of the Chulalongkorn University in cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic and Bookmoby Press publishing.
