The discussion focused on the Thailand–EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA), a key priority of the Thai Government, and its potential to strengthen cooperation beyond trade, including in technology, security, and economic connectivity. The two sides also exchanged views on Thailand’s Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) accession process and opportunities to further enhance Czech–Thai economic relations.

Czech businesses in Thailand, especially in medical devices, were highlighted as supporting Thailand’s medical tourism industry.

The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment of both countries to deepening bilateral trade and investment ties.
