H.E. Mr. Pavel Pitel, Ambassador of Czechia to Thailand met with Thai Trade Representative and advisor to the Prime Minister Mrs. Nalinee Taveesin on 14 Nov 2023 to discuss bilateral trade & investment and also mutual support for Free Trade Agreement between the EU & Thailand.

The meeting was a positive step towards deepening economic and academic ties between the Czech Republic and Thailand. The two countries have strong potential for cooperation in a number of areas, including automotive EVs, medical devices, and defense and security. A Free Trade Agreement between the EU and Thailand would further boost these ties and benefit both countries.
