The conference was attended by representatives from respective embassies of the Visegrad Group (V4) countries resident in Bangkok. The Czech Embassy had a strong presence at the event, including Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Kingdom of Thailand, H.E. Mr. Vitezslav Grepl, the Head of Commercial and Economic Section, Mr. Jan Spiler, and Head of the CzechTrade Promotion Agency in Bangkok, Mr. Jan Lembas.

During the morning session, individual V4 countries had the opportunity to present their country profiles as far as political, cultural and economic/investment conditions are concerned. The afternoon session was reserved for presentations of Heads of Commercial and Economic Sections at Thai Embassies resident in V4 countries. Individual meetings with interested Thai businessemen and company representatives followed up on the program and stretched well into late afternoon.

The event was praised as a success with over 200 Thai company representatives having participated. It was also a proof of interest by Thai companies in the V4 (and Central European) market in general, both in terms of trade and investment opportunities.
