Registration for submitting applications for long-term visas/residence permits (except for "employee cards" for which a separate procedure is published on the website) at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Baku can be carried out exclusively via the e-mail address: baku.visa@mzv.gov.cz and only if the conditions below are met.
It is not possible to book an appointment at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Baku for submitting applications for long-term visas/residence permits in any other way than described below (with the exception of "employee cards", for which a separate procedure is published on the website).
There is no specific deadline for the registration of applicants for long-term visas (visas over 90 days)/residence permits (except for “employee cards”) at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Baku. Registration is therefore ongoing and requests from applicants for a deadline for submitting applications for long-term visas/residence permits (except for “employee cards”) are processed gradually depending on how these requests are delivered to the embassy’s email inbox. If applicants for long-term visas/residence permits meet the registration requirements and their email contains the details listed below, they will be assigned the earliest possible deadline for submitting an application for a long-term visa/residence permit. Applicants will be informed of the deadline for submitting an application in a reply to their email no later than seven days after the email is delivered to the embassy, and the assigned deadline is unchangeable.
We do not recommend using the services of any commercial intermediaries for registration to apply for a long-term visa/residence permit. We hereby inform you that the Consular Department of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Baku does not cooperate with any intermediaries in processing applications for long-term visas and residence permits.
Anyone wishing to apply for a long-term visa/residence permit must provide basic information via e-mail, without which it will not be possible to set a deadline for submitting an application (these are registration requirements and if they are not met, the deadline for submitting an application will not be set):
-Purpose of application/stay (e.g. study, other, family reunification/family cohabitation);
-Full name, surname, date of birth, passport number and contact phone number of the applicant;
Mandatory attachments in PDF format:
Copy of the applicant's passport (only the page with the applicant's photo and personal data);
(attached depending on the purpose of the stay):
Education or other: copy of confirmation/document (exclusively in Czech) of admission to study;
- Family reunification/family cohabitation: marriage certificate with an apostille and an official translation into Czech (in the case of reunification of a husband/wife), or birth certificate with an apostille and an official translation (in the case of reunification of a child with parents), copy of the residence permit/document issued in the Czech Republic for the person with whom the applicant intends to reunify (husband, wife, father, mother).
When a deadline is assigned for submitting an application for a long-term visa/residence permit, applicants will always receive an e-mail with detailed instructions for submitting an application for a visa/residence permit and a detailed list of required attachments.
We strongly urge you to carefully read the entire text of the email setting the application deadline and to carefully prepare all application documents in accordance with these instructions.
