Czech Ambassador Met with Azerbaijani Bohemists on the Occasion of International Student’s Day

We, at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Baku, have celebrated the International Student’s Day with a cordial meeting with the Azerbaijani students of Bohemistics (Czech Studies) from Baku Slavic University and the Moscow State University branch in Baku. Students were personally greeted by H.E. Ambassador Vitezslav Pivonka, who reminded them of the historical context and significance this anniversary brought to the process of forming Czech modern statehood. After the Ambassador’s speech the students were given the opportunity to hear the lecture by the associated professor from the Faculty of Philosophy at the Charles University in Prague Ms. Ivana Bozdechova. She provided them with information about the study possibilities in the Czech Republic starting from short-term language courses up to full-fledged university education.
