Reception on the Anniversary of the Establishment of the Independent Czechoslovakia

On Monday 24th October the Embassy of The Czech Republic in Azerbaijan held the official reception on the 98th Anniversary of forming the independent Czechoslovakia. During the opening speech H.E. Ambassador Vitezslav Pivonka emphasized the importance of newly formed states which rose on the ruins of Austro-Hungarian Empire and highlighted the historical ties between the Czech Republic and Azerbaijan.
Official part of the reception was followed by a banquet where the guests had the opportunity to taste the genuine examples of Czech cuisine and listen to the performance of Czech brass band the “Brass Five”.
