Political Directors of MFAs of V4 countries visited Baku

From 2nd to 4th November 2015 was carried out in Baku another join foreign policy mission of the V4 countries at the level of political directors of foreign ministries of the Visegrad Group. Directors visited this time South Caucasus countries and their business trip started in Azerbaijan.
During their stay in Baku Political Directors Ivan Jestřáb (Czech Republic), Levente Benkö (Hungary), Anna Warmińska, Deputy Political Director (Poland) and Peter Mišík (Slovakia) held consultations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with Deputy Minister Mahmud Mammad- Guliyev and Khalaf Khalafov, the Deputy Head of Presidential Administration Novruz Mammadov and director of the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Farhad Mammadov.
The aim of the journey was to get to know the situation in the region better and to exchange views on current foreign policy issues.
At the end of their mission the directors met the ambassadors of EU countries led by Head of European Union Delegation to Azerbaijan Malena Mard.
